Avatar: The Last Airbender was my very first project at a major studio — Dimension Studio and DNEG. I worked as an environment artist on a variety of sets, each with its own unique challenges. We were organized into small teams of two or three per environment, which allowed me to work on multiple locations and explore different visual moods. It was a formative experience that gave me a solid overview of high-end production workflows.
